Elizium23,
I am going to have to copy the message you are reading and place it in my own email box. Responses from you are subject to the same treatment. I have recently seen the CRYSTAL reference alongside the name of Bishop Sullivan in the info box for the diocese of Camden, and it's accompanied by the comment that the new Bishop shouldn't be inserted there until he is installed; I am using catholic-hierarchy , which does not list appointments unless they have been officially published in Rome, and NOT the "crystal-ball" stuff of secular news articles I have seen over the years about who might be the next Pope or the next Bishop of a diocese. Although I today put in the Bishop-elect of Oudtshoorn into the list of Bishops of this diocese and used "elect" and left the infobox unchanged, you still are not allowing such publicly-available information in this Wikipedia. He would continue in that list even in the unlikely event that the appointment does not take effect. You only reluctantly allowed reference, in the Archdiocese. of Adelaide article, to the Archbishop-elect there.

Also recently, I came under attack from you for inserting initials which referred to religious orders following Bishops' names. The latest incident of this nature was my insertion of SVD in the list of US dioceses just after the name of Curtis Guillory, who has since retired from the Beaumont see. In the wake of that incident, you apparently reverted all religious order abbreviations in that list although catholic-hierarchy , which I was borrowing from, does use them. I do NOT accept that such religious order abbreviations are "honorifics", but would be getting into an "edit war" with you to put them back in. Carlm0404 (talk) 04:18, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
