Cultural section[edit]

At the beginning of the article, it says that Rondebosch strives to be a all-rounded school, which naturally includes cultural activities. However the article only deals with Academics and Sport, leaving out the last aspect to make it and all-rounded school. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pure Oxygen (talkcontribs)

Rondebosch has a very strong cultural side, having won the Rotary Debating Competition a number of times recently, putting on choral events in the City Hall on a regular basis, winning many awards for music at the Eistedfodds (Jazz Band, Wind Band etc.). The school puts on plays, both one-act and longer, annually and has won the Montague Play Festival recently. The annual Cabaret In The Quad is so well-known that its run is usually sold out before opening night. There are many more examples I could give, but visiting www.rondebosch.com would be easier. - Mark Wilson —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.2.45.165 (talkcontribs)
I've incorporated some of your paragraph into the article. What the article also needs is a more long-term view (e.g. the school has presented Handel's Messiah every 5 years since year X) rather than just recent achievements. Information on facilities (Memorial Hall, Library, etc) would also be useful. Zaian 14:24, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sports[edit]

This information didn't make sense in the article but can be incorporated in the article and was wrongly formatted : There are 14 sports to choose from at RBHS.

In Summer : cricket, waterpolo, basketball, tennis, rowing, athletics and swimming.

In Winter : rugby, hockey, squash, cross country, table tennis and golf.

Chess is offered all year round. Surfing/body boarding and mountain biking are clubs at the school. Soccer is in the process of becoming an official sport.

It is compulsory for a boy in grade 8 or 9 at RBHS to play at least one summer and one winter team sport.

Of these sports there are 7 which have either a professional co-ordinator and/or the first team is coached by a professional coach. --Cazo3788 15:13, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Rbhs.jpg[edit]

Image:Rbhs.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
