Liverpool miss / cult status[edit]

Why does there need to be a citation?

Any goal misses / player messing up show dvd/program features it. As well as it's a popular video on youtube.

Surely you dont need a source to tell readers? Xkingoftheworldx (talk) 20:10, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tottenham[edit]

"He made 100 appearances for Spurs, scoring 11 goals."

Yet, in the stats section - it says 4 goals in 88 games...? Samiddon (talk) 22:09, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

*Strengths - Decent treatment of his playing career, likely to satisfy those interested in an overview of his career in England
  • Weaknesses - lacks a photo, references, table etc. Little personal background and detail about playing career outside England. Deizio talk 16:21, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rosenthal's date of birth[edit]

On September 29, 2020, Ronny Rosenthal participated in a Hebrew podcast for Maccabi Haifa fans. When the host greeted him for his upcoming birthday, Ronny said that it is even sooner than they thought, because the date listed on his Wikipedia article is wrong. The correct date, according to Rosenthal, is October 4 and not October 11. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Guyli (talkcontribs) 15:00, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Guyli. This is one of those situations where the entire internet seems to have the wrong DOB. It's wrong on everything I can find dating back to 1993 (even the official Tottenham records from that date) so how it has been wrong as long as that is quite impressive! Unfortunately, even though it is the mans word, we need a reliable source - when all sources currently indicate a different DOB.[1] Koncorde (talk) 19:15, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Nehme1499: That cite you used isn't working. Govvy (talk) 21:06, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Govvy: What cite? Nehme1499 (talk) 22:09, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't touch the references, I just did some general cleanup (see before and after). Nehme1499 (talk) 00:07, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Nehme1499: My mistake, I thought you added The Team That Dared To Do: Tottenham Hotspur 1994/5 - Gerry Francis, Chris Slegg". which wasn't working. Govvy (talk) 07:49, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've modified his birth date to October 4 according to the stories he posted today in his Instagram's account, where several people greeted him for his birthday (those stories soon won't be available). Little Savage (talk) 19:12, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
