Question about being first[edit]

The "adopt a project" model of soliciting donations is hardly unique to Room to Read - other modern US-based charities use this successfully. Modest Needs and Donors Choose both use it, for example.

Is it possible that Room to Read could be the first charity using this model?

its not the first, Habitat for Humanity has had a similar model for years as well, not that this should take anything away from room to read, its a great charity with some fantastic goals. its also a very well run organization.Mbr1983 (talk) 14:09, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Results stats are outdated[edit]

The results statistics listed on the Room to Read page are outdated. The organization has impacted over 10 million children to date and current results for each of their programs can be found at the below links:
