not a Dutch name[edit]

Although the Dutch word "rozenveld" means field of roses, Roosevelt is not a Dutch name. It is originally Dutch, but it is very rare today. See in this map of surnames that in 2007 there were 0 people called Roosevelt in the Netherlands. The closest you'll come to that surname in the Netherlands is "Van Rosevelt", and you can see in this map that in 2007 there were 67 people called Van Rosevelt in the Netherlands. In short: Roosevelt is an American name. Please have the article reflect that. By the way, I have no clue whatsoever what could be meant by "the Dutch place-name spelled variously as Van Rosevelt or Van Rosenvelt"... As far as I know, there is no such place-name in Dutch. There are however at least seven places by that name in the United States. Mark in wiki (talk) 18:39, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
