As mentioned in the DYK page, calling it a "military" mission might be a stretch since most sources I see mention the scientific aspects. How about something like "an exploratory mission aboard a military ship"? I think France was officially not at war during the period, but of course might have been trying to "project" a military presence to counter the British Navy, some something like that.

Also I would suggest not hiding the link at an anonymous IP address. It seems to be an old disused page from the same Australia museum? Also it says she died in 1834, but would trust a book over web page. W Nowicki (talk) 19:50, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, it seems you get a "page not found" if you use the name www.museum.wa.gov.au that corresponds to 202.14.152.30 in the URL. Also a nit is that from my meager understaning of the French language, it should be either "the Uranie" or "L'Uranie" not "the L'Uranie"". W Nowicki (talk) 20:58, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
