A more independent source for his speed record would be better, but in a quick search I couldn't find much with the most recent number besides his own home page and the Ski Apache page. -- Spireguy 04:11, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recent revert

[edit]

I reverted the two recent edits by Florida01 for the stated reasons. Thanks for trying to contribute; however, if you want to expand this page with more information, you cannot just copy from another website. Also, a person's own home page is a poor source since it is not neutral. -- Spireguy 19:34, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again Florida01. Thanks for contributing, and I don't want to discourage you, but I'm afraid that I felt I had to revert your recent edits. First, you might want to get a bit more familiar with Wiki markup before editing an article (you can try the "Sandbox" for experimentation, or see the help pages). Second, some of the edits you made were ungrammatical or poor style (the latter is my opinion, of course). Third, I think it's more accurate to leave it as 'he bills himself as the "World’s Fastest American Indian on Mother Earth" ' since (a) it's significant that this is his self-applied designation and (b) he's only fastest in one particular sense, that of speed skiing. There could well be a faster American Indian race car driver, for example.

I leave in the childhood in Durango, but I put it in the second paragraph and sourced it.

If you have disagreements with these points please comment here on the talk page. Thanks -- Spireguy 19:06, 5 August 2007 (UTC) I wanted to see if you are able to put the place of Mr. Anderson place of Birth. He was born at Holloman Air Force Base New Mexico. Thank you Florida01[reply]
