Unclear[edit]

The reference to Matilda of Caen is unclear. Could it be Cecilia of Normandy, who was associated with Caen? Charles Matthews (talk) 19:47, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rotulus and volumen[edit]

Under the two portraits is written: "depicting two different men wearing laurel wreaths, one holding the rotulus (left), the other a volumen (right)". The picture itself does not justify this description. There is no indication that either man is holding a rotulus, nor any reference to any scholarly work arguing that it is.
