How important is Rough Fire in 2015 California wildfire list

[edit]

Hello Zachmann08,

I would like to confirm the information I added tonight and you removed almost immediately: the Rough Fire is the second largest (in surface) in California this year, and the largest active. Go to Inciweb > California, sort by surface (Acres), and you'll see that Happy Camp Complex has a bigger size (134,056 Acres). May be you judge using other criteria; if so, please could you explain them?

Waiting for an answer about the fire size => Zachmann08

Hello Zachmann08, Without answer from you by the end of the day, I'll cancel your modification/removal about how important is the fire compared to the other ones in California Sincerely, Marc.

@Mbajet: neither of your comments have made any sense. As I explained on your talk page, the fire you are saying is larger than the Rough Fire is the Happy Camp Complex Fire which burned LAST YEAR. Not in 2014. InciWeb does not close out an incident until every single resource has cleared. The fire was deemed controlled October 31st, 2014. It is not and never has been an active incident in 2015. --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 06:45, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
