Merge suggestion

[edit]

I believe that Round Table India should be merged into this article, as it shares much of the same text on a redundant explanation and actually appears to be longer than the main article. Let me know what you think! --Oldy 13:28, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree in part. RT India is a valid part of Round Table so should be merged, but it is only one part of RT International, so it is important that it is not given any undue prominence above other countries' clubs. Brian - 30 Jan 2008

I agree with Brian on this one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.165.181.136 (talk) 07:53, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I strongly disagree that it should be merged. For informational purposes I continue to point people to the Rount Table India link. It explains the overall organization & history, but it's extremely important to go into the MANY and specific acts they have accomplished, the culture around it (ie. the wives club). The Indian branch is quite enormous. Please consider that when WIKI describes a project or event the key contributors usually have their own entries. This is completely analogus. I do agree that it needs work to be brought up to wiki standards, though.

Fair use rationale for Image:RTLOGO2.jpg

[edit]

Image:RTLOGO2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Tag for Advertisement

[edit]

I can not see who has added the tag "Advertisement". I tried not to write it like an advertisement, because Wikipedia is not an advertisement platform. Is this tag valid for the whole text or is it just one chapter and if so, which one? I can rewrite this chapter and change the sounding 147.161.137.7 (talk) 10:08, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
