Is this correct?

[edit]

I made a change to some wording that seemed confusing. I'm hoping the writer will confirm. Previously in the second paragraph of the section 19th and 20th Century it showed

system that replaced their pro cent in the theatre-income by a set salary

It looked to me as if this meant

system that replaced their percent of the theatre income by a set salary

If I have erred, please revert.
