Disputed recipient - Albert I of Belgium[edit]

Although this is cited to a book, I question the stated award in 1881 of this order of Albert I of Belgium because that year he was only six years old; he was not even King of the Belgians at the time, the monarch being his uncle Leopold II who did not die until 1909; and the award is not listed among his list of honours in the Wikipedia article on King Albert. Is that not possibly a mistake for the latter?Cloptonson (talk) 21:36, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A fuller citation to this source seems to be: Greer, Richard, A. "The Royal Tourist—Kalakaua's Letters Home from Tokyo to London," The Hawaiian Journal of History, Vol. 5. I have found the publication date for volume 5 given variously as 1967 and 1971. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.17.178.22 (talk) 17:33, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It’s Leopold II mentioned in the source.KAVEBEAR (talk) 18:42, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed recipient - Queen Victoria[edit]

I am questioning the inclusion of Queen Victoria. The Hawaiian almanac and annual for 1882 list all members of the order in 1882 including foreign royals and monarchs and Victoria is not listed only her son Prince Alfred.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 04:49, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Although the article does say Victoria receive the Grand Cross with Collar and maybe that was left out of the members of the orders. This is difficult to corroborate false or true.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 04:51, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
