Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (I'TS IMPORTANT!!!) --Endyandsara (talk) 17:38, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the Ruby Red page is important. It is now even more notable now that multiple movies have been produced about the book series. --Studently (talk) 04:22, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sequel

[edit]

Saphire Blue and Emerald Green are sequels no prequels! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.52.208.216 (talk) 17:48, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Change of title

[edit]

This article uses the french title as heading. Can someone change it to its proper English title ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.187.244.98 (talk) 23:24, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Changes in the Article

[edit]

I have added to the Ruby Red article to include all of the books in the series instead of only the first one. This is similar to the German Wikipedia page, which is about the Ruby Red Trilogy as a whole. Also, I updated some information about the film adaptations of the books. Hopefully this article is in the process of moving from a stub to a more comprehensive page.--Studently (talk) 04:29, 9 December 2014 (UTC) Section moved from top of page to bottom, according to usual talk page convention. I believe that you have stretched the article further than it ought to go. If the series is notable ~ and it may well be ~ it should have an article of its own. In the meantime, i would like to see the very large changes made by Studently reverted and discussed here before being permanently added. Cheers, LindsayHello 15:00, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

In all three books I saw Gwyneth, Gwenny, and Gwen, but not Gwendolyn, not even one time. Debresser (talk) 15:03, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

But in the films, it is often Gwendolyn. Debresser (talk) 16:55, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

US/English?

[edit]

Why is the US/English listed as country/language along with Germany/German. From my understanding the books were written in German for German publication. Are there substantial parts of the original text that are in English? Did the US play an important role in the original version of the series? Just being translated into a language shouldn't be enough to get it listed in the info box; otherwise we would have to list a lot more than two languages.162.247.132.2 (talk) 15:06, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unless a good explanation is provided, I agree with this completely. Debresser (talk) 16:46, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
