Not a serious and balanced article[edit]

The articles relies too heavily on just one source - Andrew, Christopher & Gordievsky, Oleg, The KGB: The Inside Story of Its Foreign Operations from Lenin to Gorbachev, New York: Harper Collins, 1990, which is used to claim von Scheliha spied for the USSR only for greed. Hi @Polska jest Najważniejsza: It has been more than a year and half since you were here. What exactly was wrong with it again? I think you said reference 9 was not quite right. What was wrong with it? The reason I put it in, was the British and American intelligence stated he was motivated by money. This could have came from the original Gestapo arrest reports but I never saw any link. They did they're independent verification of. Perrault mentions that he was motivate by money, mercenary in nature. Is it the book reference that is wrong or the whole idea, that he wasn't motivate by money? scope_creepTalk 22:30, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, this article disregards important sources written in German about Scheliha, his alleged role as Soviet spy, and biographical details. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SRTuricum (talkcontribs) 10:18, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This article is biased and needs to be revised. It repeats a slanderous narrative of Rudolf von Scheliha's biography that has been circulated. It is a narrative that was based on the Gestapo's indictment. On October 25th, 1995, in its public hearing, the 8th Chamber of the Administrational Court in Cologne, Germany "Verwaltungsgericht", (https://www.vg-koeln.nrw.de/), was hearing the case Marie-Louise von Scheliha vs Federal Republic of Germany with reference number 8K 5055/94 under judge Kohlheim. The court ruled that Rudolf von Scheliha has acted out of ideological motives, not for monetary reasons. The court was convinced by the plaintiff that Rudolf von Scheliha was not passing on information for payment ("Bezahlter Landesverrat") but that he has fought Nazi dictatorship out of moral conviction. The defendant's representative declared that it fully rehabilitates Rudolf von Scheliha and that the statement made by the Federal Office of the Exterior (Auswärtiges Amt) on Sept 10th, 1993 is to be the basis for the historical view of Rudolf von Scheliha's career. Not only is there plenty of evidence that Rudolf von Scheliha was not receiving money for his resistance from Soviet intelligence or otherwise (cf the biography "Rudolf von Scheliha. Diplomat Gegen Hitler" by Ulrich Sahm which is quoted in this article), but there also is a ruling by the highest German court in the matter. For further evidence consult the archive of Gedenkstätte Deutscher Widerstand and its biographical page on Rudolf von Scheliha (https://www.gdw-berlin.de/de/vertiefung/biografien/personenverzeichnis/biografie/view-bio/rudolf-von-scheliha).SRTuricum (talk) 22:13, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@SRTuricum: I not got anything back from this yet. That women who replied stated it would after Christmas. scope_creepTalk 11:49, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Scope creep: An application has been made for the ruling 8K 5055/94 of the administrational court of the German state of Nordrheinwestfalen (Verwaltungsgericht Köln) to be added to its published rulings so it can be accessed for free online. The application has been confirmed. The ruling will be made public. This can take several months. In the meantime, please refer to the numerous published sources in German and to the German wikipedia page about Rudolf von Scheliha. For the most recent discussion, refer to the essay by American journalist Anne Nelson: "Nur seinem Gewissen verpflichtet. Rudolf von Scheliha." In: Schulte, Jan Erik & Michael Wala (editors). Widerstand und Auswärtiges Amt: Diplomaten gegen Hitler. Munich, 2013: Siedler Verlag. SRTuricum (talk) 17:19, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
