More than slant drilling

[edit]

Kuwait also produced more than agreed, whether slant drilling (discredited) or not, prior to Iraq invasion. http://www.nytimes.com/1990/09/03/world/confrontation-in-the-gulf-the-oilfield-lying-below-the-iraq-kuwait-dispute.html?pagewanted=2&src=pm Mydogtrouble (talk) 18:07, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clairfy last sentence in introduction

[edit]

I've added the [clarification needed] tag to the last sentence in the introduction as I've found it to be unsatisfactorily ambiguous. Regular financial investment? Physically replacing 200,000 barrels of oil back into the reservoir? Where is the lost production arising from?

I'd love to bring some more clarity to these claims, but as the citation listed for this sentence is behind a paywall, I am not able to do that. A less-than-cursory bit of internet research has been unsuccessful in yielding the information I'm looking for. Illini407 talk 16:13, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
