Correct. The German name of the organization is Komitee Cap Anamur / Deutsche Notärzte e.V. – meaning Cap Anamur Committee / German Emergency Physicians Association.

Regarding your request for help with German language references, I'm not sure which references you mean. The part about his origins and the flight from Danzig is basically a direct translation from German Wiki, which says:

Als Kind musste Neudeck Ende Januar 1945 mit seiner Mutter, seinen drei Brüdern und seiner Schwester aus Danzig-Langfuhr fliehen. Die Flucht sollte mit der Wilhelm Gustloff erfolgen, die die Familie aber am Hafen verfehlte, was ihr das Leben rettete.

Is there something in that section I can clarify?

(The Wilhelm Gustloff sinking in January 1945 resulted in an estimated 9,000+ deaths, mostly of civilians – which makes it the largest loss of life in a single ship sinking in history. This sad event was long ignored in Western historiography, but in recent years the story has been told in English, thanks in part to Günter Grass – who coincidentally also was from Danzig-Langfuhr.)

The first reference here, appears to detail his being a refugee during childhood, including the previous sentence in the article about missing the boat. "Google Translating" the reference does not make his childhood journey clear enough for me to edit on Rupert's situation. I was hoping that someone fluent would improve that part of the article. Sorry, but I'm not getting what isn't clear to you. He was 5 (almost 6) at the time the family fled from Danzig, thus a child. All the Germans who fled or were evacuated from eastern Germany in spring 1945 were refugees. (Please see my second reply to Thryduulf here.) – Sca (talk) 22:13, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

@SCA: There was a sentence fragment (presumably an accidental cut/paste error from the past) that did not make sense as it stood. Israel, etc.

HerkusMonte, I'm concerned that your deletion of this paragraph may amount to, in effect, sanitizing Neudeck's history. The passage is a somewhat loose but I believe accurate translation from German WP:

Seit 2002 reiste Neudeck mehrmals nach Israel und in die Palästinensische Autonomiegebiete|palästinensischen Autonomiegebiete, um sich, wie er mitteilte, über die Israelische Sperranlagen|israelischen Sperranlagen und die Lage der Palästinenser vor Ort kundig zu machen. Mit der daraus erwachsenen Veröffentlichung Ich will nicht mehr schweigen. Recht und Gerechtigkeit in Palästina wollte er nach eigenem Bekunden gegen die von ihm angeklagten israelischen Menschenrechtsverletzungen, eine neue „Apartheid“ und das „Monstrum Mauer“ protestieren und lehnte mit Warnungen vor einer „Freundschaftsfalle Israel“ auch die bisherige militärische Unterstützung Israels durch die Bundesrepublik ab. Dies stieß auf teils deutliche Kritik.

The source used by the German entry does refer to Neudeck, but only speculatively:

The lack of more detailed sources is, unfortunately, not unusual for German WP. I surfed up half a dozen German articles about Neudeck's death but failed to find any real documentation for the "new Apartheid" aspect. Nevertheless, one must wonder how it came to be in the German WP entry.

Since you are a native German-speaker, perhaps you could research this question. Or perhaps you have contacts on German Wiki who could help? – Sca (talk)

I don't now what Mr. Neudeck said or thought about Israel, the source, however, barely mentions Neudeck and simply doesn't support these claims at all. It's not about sanitizing, it's just about proper usage of WP:RS. HerkusMonte (talk) 18:14, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
