What is this part supposed to be?

"the red area in Karelian. in Finnish, brown, Russians with communism and red will be associated with the Veps knew 5 centuries ago"

Ruskea means brown in Finnish while in Karelian ruskie/ruškie means red. -la is a suffix in both languages meaning "place of". But what does that have to do with communism? Not to mention the Vepsians, what do they have to do with this? Kapulakone (talk) 09:24, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
