Is this article necessary

[edit]

There was no 2023 Winter offensive by the Russians. They were on the defensive from Zapo to Luhansk with exception to the Bakhmut axis, where they captured Soledar and Bakhmut. But that is already in the Soledar and Bakhmut pages. The rest of this article is nonsense. It should be deleted. 2601:85:C100:46C0:947C:1B36:FBE:B756 (talk) 20:28, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Agree (although not so much about the being on the defensive part, that was only a small portion of the time) that this article is unnecessary. This is very duplicative of the content in the eastern Ukraine campaign and southern Ukraine campaign, and this "offensive" was not more notable than any other Russian offensive after November 2022. Agreed, most of the content on this page is at least mentioned either explicitly or implicitly. However, I would prefer if this page were merged into the Eastern Ukraine campaign and Southern Ukraine campaign Bukansatya (talk) 10:17, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Same IP, that would be an acceptable course of action. 2601:85:C100:46C0:FC4F:BBEF:6ACD:8DA1 (talk) 18:51, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
