Death location?[edit]

I think you'll find that she actually died in Stuttgart. Although I don't speak German, I get the distinct impression both from her German Wikipedia article and your reference, that she died in her native Germany. 203.196.41.161 (talk) 21:44, 5 April 2019 (UTC) Editrite![reply]

You are right, I confused two obituaries. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:48, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Birth year[edit]

I've changed it to 1931 sourced to Großes Sängerlexikon (the same year given by the Bibliothèque nationale de France and the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek). I note that the review of her recital album claims she was born in 1930. The Library of Congress has 1932 using a source mysteriously described as "WW opera, 1st ed". These variants could be placed in a footnote. Voceditenore (talk) 11:50, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Accepted, but this would not be the only case where a Kutsch/Riemens date is wrong. The review of the rather recent CD claims the booklet for 1930. Will make a footnote, but believe the booklet is right. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:19, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I did that, and after 3 refs for 1930 found the family's announcement of death which says died in her 90th year, which means aged 89, which supports 1930. So will revert to before. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:32, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
