Question from R6MaY89[edit]

Well, of course, I figured it out eventually. Sorry to be so dumb. I initially thought you meant a "WP" article she had written. Hopefully, your comment was at least partially addressed by what I added last night, and I am digging through some new sources for more. David Legates[edit]

So now Minner feels that she has the ability to tell scientists what's what? Does she even have the ability to forbid someone from using a title that has been bestowed upon him? And furthermore, is it right? Professor Legates has some serious doubts about "man-made" global warming (as many people do), and he's just trying to bring these doubts to light to be discussed, but Governor Minner seems to have a problem with that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.50.151.8 (talk) 11:50, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is she choosing to retire or is she being forced out by term limit?[edit]

The article contained a contradiction. The lead claimed that the constitution of the State of Delaware limits a person to two terms as governor. But another sentence claimed she announced she had chosen to "retire" in 2009, at the end of her second term, which entails she has the choice of whether to run for a third term. The only way there would not be a contradiction would be if what she had chosen to retire from is not merely her current office, but from her working life altogether. That is probably what the truth is, but instead of taking time to research the point, I deleted the claim of lesser import. If it is true she wants to retire from working altogether, or at least from politics altogether, then some other editor can insert that. longest serving governor in Delaware history?[edit]

I think that does get said in some Wikipedia article about governor of Delaware. She finished Tom Carper's 2nd term (he left a little early to make timely entrance to U.S. Senate) and then served 2 full terms (NOT cut short at end).
