SS Bretagne (1951)SS Bretagne — That link is previously a disambiguation page but it looks useless because there is one blue link and one red link so I decided to change it to a redirect to this article. So I suggest to move this article. j3j3j3... pfH0wHz 08:51, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose This is not a particularly big deal as "SS Bretagne" redirects here. As a general rule I am against basing issues like this on articles which might be created, but I think I will make an exception in this case, since it is likely that other ships called Bretagne will be notable. We may even find that this is not a particularly unusual ship name. PatGallacher (talk) 11:22, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. There are other ships named Bretagne, listed at the dab page French ship Bretagne. It is possible another SS Bretagne may be notable, and there is little confusion for the reader here. As Pat says, SS Bretagne redirects here so we have not misled anybody. Binksternet (talk) 15:46, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong oppose a search on Plimsoll ship data shows up four ships named Bretagne (seven show, but it's clear that there are four), so the use of a setindex page is justified and dabbing by year is the normal convention. Mjroots (talk) 20:42, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
