images 'upside down'?[edit]

the two images in the article now of the shuttle docked to the station seem upside-down to me.. would it be better to rotate them so that the earth is down? this seems somewhat more intuitive.. and many diagrams of the station (here, here, or here) will have the nadir side down, so this would perhaps be more familiar to people. 82.6.96.66 (talk) 12:01, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Try imagining that blue globe is a moon up in the sky. Then the photos look right side up! Seriously, its totally a matter of perspective. You're certainly correct that it is quite common to associate "nadir" (i.e. in the direction of Earth) with "down" (i.e. towards one's feet). But exactly because Earth is in the photos there can't be too much confusion about which direction is nadir! (sdsds - talk) 18:01, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The lower cameras on the ISS truss are actually mounted “upside down”, i.e., the top of the image is to ISS nadir. Just an explanation of why the photos are in that orientation, there isn’t any reason not to rotate the photos for convenient viewing. 139.169.114.99 (talk) 18:30, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Day Three wake-up music was not the theme song to A Prairie Home Companion. The theme song would be Tishomingo Blues which is a Spencer William's composition. However, the song relayed up to Atlantis was the Powdermilk Biscuits Jingle, Powdermilk biscuits being a fictional sponser of the radio show. Furthermore, both the theme which was not sent to the crew, and the jingle which was, are performed by host Garrison Keillor and the Guy's All-Star Shoe Band.76.23.107.135 (talk) 18:13, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
