Odd radio call

[edit]

When Atlantis was crossing into Florida from the Gulf of Mexico, Commander Ferguson called back to Mission Control "We have a beautiful view of the Yucatan, I think, going under the wing right now...". Capcom let him know that it was Florida and not Mexico.

This might be a good addition to the article, after hearing postflight explanations.--Tdadamemd (talk) 09:54, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The radio traffic is covered in the nytimes here but there's no further commentary on Ferguson's apparent lack of situational awareness. Without follow-up articles I can't see a good way to add something about this to this Wikipedia article. --Marc Kupper|talk 17:59, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Space X Flight

[edit]

I have just deleted a paragraph in the summary, which I assume was recently added, detailing the recent Space X Flight Crew Dragon Demo-2. I do not believe the recent Space X flight is relevent to include as a paragragh on a article about a flight of a different type of vehicle that took place 9 years ago. In addition, I note that there is no mention of the Space X flight in the main body of the articleIlenart626 (talk) 16:54, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
