Official site says Rabat: http://saadlamjarred.ma/biography/ Fideliosr (talk) 19:15, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

in the interview he is saying in his own words "my blood is from Marrakesh" just listen. I believe him. Moranini t (talk) 20:21, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Guinness World Record?[edit]

It says here Lamjarred was awarded a Guinness World Record for most youtube views in 3 weeks. I'm not sure it's true. There is no mention of it in any official Guinness World Records publication, and the numbers quoted has been surpassed even before Lamjarred's said single in 2013. I suggest removing this unless someone can give a REAL reference (other than Morrocan online news sites). 192.114.23.208 (talk) 10:50, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I think it's a record in the Arabic songs category, not including all of the songs released on YouTube. Keivan.fTalk 23:02, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not based on the US standard of "beyond a reasonable doubt"[edit]

I linked to French criminal law since it appears that Lamjarred's criminal conviction isn't based on the American standard of reasonable doubt since 2 out of 9 jury members had doubts. (I am don't sure if a "vote" means a jury vote or if France uses jurors.) 2601:C4:C300:A210:593D:3887:2F78:F7D (talk) 17:10, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not the US standard? Why even refer to the US standard?

Rapist/sex offender.[edit]

I've seen several edits changed with the reason given being "vandalism". Give it's a matter of fact that Lamjarred is a convicted rapist/sex offender why is it vandalism? 49.224.69.66 (talk) 02:16, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's already been mentioned in the article in detail. Usually we don't put "rapist" as a job description, unless that's the only thing the person is known for. Also, the sentence is currently under appeal in court, so the decision is not 100% final. Ideophagous (talk) 02:35, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
...the way you phrased it, @Ideophagous, makes it sound like being a rapist is a job. LilianaUwU (talk / contributions) 02:37, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It isn't, but some people vandalizing the article seem to think so.-- Ideophagous (talk) 02:39, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Currently that is what he is known for. The descriptions are not just about , looking at Wikipedia guidelines, but also about what gives the subject a profile. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.224.69.66 (talk) 02:39, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

we are looking at the article right now. the crimes are referenced.

When you say 'we' who do you mean? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.224.69.66 (talk) 02:33, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The involved editors, I assume. FYI, there's a whole section dedicated to the rape accusations. LilianaUwU (talk / contributions) 02:35, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
