Need Sacandaga Lake article[edit]

There seems to be no article about Sacandaga Lake; there is only one about the Sacandaga Reservoir.

In the article about the Mohawk legend of The Flying Head that is associated with Sacanadaga Lake, there was a link that erroneously redirected to the article about the reservoir.

Can someone who is familiar with the Lake create such an article?

Etymology[edit]

What is the origin of this word? Badagnani (talk) 01:54, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

From: "Sacandaga has been mentioned as ‘Land of the Waving Grass’ other interpretations of the Iroquois origin is “drowned water” probably referring to the marshland of the Vly or “drowned land“ referring to the flooding in the spring." source: http://www.visitsacandaga.com/history_sacandaga_name.htm ...LanceBarber (talk) 08:39, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
