Reads like an advert. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.153.13.68 (talk) 09:59, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't this the same company that featured on UK consumer program "Watchdog" some years ago featuring gruesome stories of aggressive sales reps urinating in their (potential) customers bathroom sink as revenge for not buying their expensive windows? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.148.174.69 (talk) 20:03, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've just managed to get rid of a Safestyle rep who called uninvited. Very, very hard sell at the door. I now wouldn't touch these people with the proverbial barge pole. --Ef80 (talk) 14:26, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, use of company name in nearly every paragraph, and the stating of the firm has a sub station in a line that reads as if straight from company web site. So removed as every manufacturing co in the country of any size has one, so un-encyclopaedic - BulldozerD11 (talk) 01:40, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jeff Brown ...

[edit]

My sister cannot stand that Window Man. Guess what, a friend of her's used to work for this guy! Can you believe it? 211.26.35.174 (talk) 11:33, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merger

[edit]

Proposed merger with Jeff_Brown (safestyle window man) as his primary relevance is to Safestyle windows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yoshimi2306 (talkcontribs) 10:53, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Objectivity

[edit]

This entire 'article' is essentially an advert. It looks like the entire thing has been written by Safestyle

Nominate for deletion.

[edit]

The page reads like an advertisement and seems to be written by a company employee. Outside of the occasional, and rather irritating advert on regional TV, the company isn't known or well regarded for either innovation or its notability in the world of double glazing. 78.150.200.176 (talk) 15:51, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It may read like an advert but that is no reason for it to be deleted. It is notable enough as a company and just needs attention. Keith D (talk) 18:16, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So it would be ok for me to write a similar article for our own Double Glazing company which has been established since 1986 and has hundreds of employees? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.27.164.133 (talk) 11:12, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You can always create an article if it passes the appropriate notability requirements and is referenced to reliable sources. Keith D (talk) 19:58, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jeff Brown coatrack removed

[edit]

Contrary to the claim made in an edit summary, the result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jeff Brown (sports announcer) was not merge. The result was redirect, not one person in the discussion was actually in favour of a merge, the nearest you get is "I'm not even sure he qualifies for that much coverage in the Safestyle article either, but that's a content debate for the Safestyle contributors".

An encyclopedia article about a company has zero need to include a mini-biography of an actor who appeared in some television adverts for it. I have removed it. 2A02:C7D:3CBD:3100:9DD:7E55:C677:64DE (talk) 17:12, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've reinstated it, I agree most of it is pure shite however there should be a mention somewhere in the article about the bloke being on tv ads, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 17:20, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Nevermind removed most of the crap, Preferably the one-liner should be added somewhere in to the article instead of having a whole section, If someone could word it better than I have that'd be grand, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 17:26, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
