I apologize, but I no longer have the time to review this article. I really oughtn't be here at all. Curses. --Gimme danger (talk) 05:50, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

History

[edit]

"The C2 and C3 haplogroups are absent in their population"

What exactly are "C2 and C3 haplogroups"? As hte vast majority of people will not know what they are, I think it would be best to explain what they are.

"This event turned out to be "brutal" which was due to the Japanese policy to "exterminate" the tribes."

OK, what does that mean exactly? That people were killed? Not really clear.

"This event ended in disaster for the both tribes causing many of their tribesmen to be slaughtered in an event called the "Takobowan Incident"[4] (also known as the “Galeewan Incident”[8] or “Kalyawan Battle”)"

What was the disaster?

Also, since the sections are so short, maybe you could just merge them all, instead having really short sections.

Religion

[edit]

"These include traditional beliefs that mixes aspects of Ancestor Worship and Animism,[18] Some may also practice Christianity"

Does ancestor worship need to be capitalized?

"Currently, the traditional religious beliefs of the Sakizaya are currently experiencing external pressures since many of the tribesmen may have converted to Christianity"

First off, you say "currently" twice. Also, what does it mean "the...beliefs...are...experiencing external pressures"?

"They are considered to be "fickle as the weather"[18] so priests or mapalaway are necessary to communicate with them."

Who or what are you referring as "they"?

"They are also invisible to most people though they are known to wear red.[18] Several beliefs are associated with these spirits, such as pregnancy and death."

"They are also invisible" is assuming them to be real things, which they are not. Also, what does it means "Several beliefs are associated with these spirits, such as pregnancy and death"? Are pregnancy and death beliefs?

"Rituals are practiced to appease the dito[18] and often mimic rituals performed by other Austronesian peoples"

References mid-sentence need to go after punctuation.

Society and culture

[edit]

"Headhunting was once prevalent[22] but has now fallen out of practice."

Again, references mid-sentence need to go after punctuation.

Also, there are four very short paragraphs in this section. Couldn't you combine them in some way? And, since the Language section is so short, maybe you could combine that under this section.

Final GA Review

[edit]

After no response for a week, and no addressing my concerns above, I'm going to fail this article. If you have a problem, you can go to reassessment. Noble Story (talkcontributions) 09:33, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
