Religion

[edit]

It has listed at the bottom of the page that Kalou is a Muslim. When the reading the Chelsea programme recently though, in which he gave an interview, he talked about his Christian faith. Surely it should be changed from 'Muslims' to 'Cote d'Ivoire Christians? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.211.247.158 (talk) 15:05, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a WP:V and WP:RS source for this then add the link.BigDunc (talk) 15:14, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Van Basten

[edit]

In the misc section it was just the use of "vote" that threw me. I've rejigged the section and corrected some grammar and spelling. However, the two sections contradict one another. Early on in the article one gets the impression that van Basten is a keen admirer of the player and seems desperate for him to get Dutch nationality. However, his TV quote gives an entirely opposite impression which I understand is the reason for including it. hedpeguyuk 27 May 2006 13:40 UTC

It was about voting in an election. So van Basten was against the decision of immigration minister Verdonk, but still would vote for her in an election. Intangible 14:03, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh and she's one of the candidates in her party's leadership contest isn't she? That would make any public support of her, particularly someone like van Basten, relevant. I see now, I'm an idiot! My brain is fried after university exams, that's what I'll blame it on! It's just that the paragraph wasn't particularly clear (at first). My ignorance of contemporary Dutch politics didn't help (I'm a politics student by the way!) I messed it up but it's fine now, thanks. Good job there's people like you keeping an eye on things! Anyway. it looks like he (Kalou) may well be on his way to Chelsea (if the reports are to be believed). Darn! :) hedpeguyuk 21:35, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I want to ask you guys something. Why does it say in the regular text that Salomon has played 5 games and scored 1 goal, and in the statistics menu, that he played 9 games and scored 0 goals?

High School?

[edit]

"However, Kalou signed for Excelsior Rotterdam, Feyenoord Rotterdam's 'satellite club' after attending high school at NES."

Is there a citation for the last part? NES is a high school in Kuwait (New English School) but I can't find any references to this, although he's listed on it's wiki page under notable alumni. Seems like someone from the school messing around. Eternity52 01:06, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
