This is patently US-centric, could anything be done to make it a little broader? Elomis 06:22, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes! Be WP:BOLD and edit it to your heart's content. We Americans think the world is flat and that our borders are its edges! :) Reswobslc 21:44, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SO much misinformation and nonsense![edit]

The entire article is so flawed that I think the most sensible thing would be to start over from scratch. Most of the "Determination of salvage status" section is absolute rubbish. To wit: "Many people are confused about the actual repair cost... -- just who are those "many people"? These are nothing but weasel words. "Skeptical shoppers automatically assume that 50-70% repair to value ratio..." -- and who are the "skeptical shoppers"? Are they related to "inquiring minds" or "choosy moms"? "...the shoppers who understand this are the ones who can obtain very good bargains" This is just flat-out crap. NO Wiki should ever contain nonsense like this. I move that the entire second paragraph be removed, and only Wikified information put in, in its place. Bricology (talk) 06:01, 27 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
