The nordic word/name element "Sam" and its mystery meaning.[edit]

Place names like Samnanger, figures names like, Samr/Sæmingr, Samsø the island and the Swedish town Säm, and this place Sama have always piqued my interest, if there are any theories as to etymology I'd be interested in being informed here or in one of these pages. 65.102.8.169 (talk) 03:39, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
