Contest prod

[edit]

I removed this Prod nomination. The law exists and is probably notable. Whether the name of the article about the law should be "Samantha's Law" or "Family Support for Children with Disabilities Act" is a separate issue in which deletion should not be a factor. --PinkBull 15:36, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problem Page

[edit]

I'm giving the writer until Thursday to address the problems outlined in the tags at the top of the page before I request it be deleted. I don't have time to research it myself but it seems like a topic worth including in wikipedia. However, it doesn't conform to wikipedia guidelines and another user couldnt find anything significant. --tb240904 Talk Contribs 00:11, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Keep

[edit]

I have tidied up the article and I think it should be kept. However, it would be desirable to re-name it with the official title of the law. Biscuittin (talk) 20:34, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plagiarized

[edit]

I just deleted loads of plagiarized material from the Samantha's Law wikipedia article. 63.247.160.139 (talk) 00:41, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Content question

[edit]

There is no such legislation listed with the Alberta Queen's Printer. [1] No such law appears to have ever been brought into force under the Alberta provincial government. There is a Family Support for Children with Disabilities Act and Regulation listed, as noted, however none of the amendments to those seem to address anything called or referring to what is described in the article as "Samantha's Law".
