[edit]Documentary reference materials for Samizu Matsuki Documentation of awards.
- 1970 and 1971 awards documented in "Artists/USA 1972-73 - Guide to Contemporary Art." Published by Artists/USA, Inc. Feasterville, PA 19047. Library of Congress Catalog Number 78134303. ISSN: 0196-6154
The book includes on page 120 a photograph of her work "A Triumphal Return" accompanied by short summary of her awards and locations of exhibition and gallery placement of her works. She is also listed in the book's index of artists on page 213.
I have scanned relevant sections from the book: title page, table of contents, foreword, Samizu Matsuki's entry page, and index page with Samizu Matsuki listed, and made them available on Samizu Matsuki's external website at http://penbay.org/samizu/awards/samizu_awards.html
- 1974 Award. Matsuki's Award of Excellence at the Abraham & Straus-Hempstead Art Show, "Long Island Art '74" is documented by a newspaper article in The Long Island News and the Owl, 1974-02-08.

Bith record, University and teaching credentials. I have obtained and digitized Matsuki's birth certificate, Women's College of Fine Arts graduation certificate, and her elementary and junior high school teaching licenses. With the exception of the graduation certificate, the documents are in Japanese.
I have yet to obtain Salmagundi Club membership documentation. The curator of the club has indicated to me he will review his resources for Samizu's membership information after I send him helpful details. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Penbay (talk • contribs) 07:20, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
