A fact from Samuel Adalberg appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 25 July 2019 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
I am pretty sure Szkoła Realna of Samuel Dickstein. doesn't have a pl wiki article yet (pl:szkoła realna refers to Realschule). I wonder if the "Hipolit Wawelberg Foundation" refers to the "Fundacja Tanich Mieszkań im. Ludwiki i Hipolita małżeństwa Wawelbergów". I am unsure which Institute for Jewish Studies he was invovled in, and I am also not sure about the " Gesellschaft für die Wissenschaft des Judentums (Society for Judaic Sciences)". Anyone, help? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:10, 3 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Probably OK actually - killing one's self to avoid going into the ghetto - following the German occupation and beginning of anti-Jewish repressions (Yellow stars, marking businesses, residences). We definitely count later suicides (in ghettos, extermination camps, etc. - and these aren't small numbers) as Holocaust victims. Icewhiz (talk) 05:10, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
