Image filename[edit]

The filename of Wikipedia's copy of the Navy photogragh of VADM Locklear contains out-of-date information; VADM Locklear is no longer Commander of Third Fleet, but Director, Navy Staff, as noted in his official biography and, at current, on his wiki page. The original navy filename does not contain VADM Locklear's posting, only his name. Nick Name[edit]

I served with him as a Commander, and 2 of the JO's on board the Truxtun knew him from the Academy

EVERYONE knows his nickname is Lockup, and it's not defamatory because he's quite proud of it. I can't think where it would be written anywhere, but anyone who knows him is going to know this. He used to be infamous for taking the Midshipmen's liberty away for infractions.
