this says May 30, 1869
Florida Memory has 1869-1943
full page on his run for Second Congressional District this says he was 44 in 1912 so 1868
this says 74 at death in 1943 so 1868/9
unreliable find a grave has 1869-1943 in text but a picture of 1876 grave which is either an error or wrong grave but also has a clipping for May 30, 1869
