Biographical note Samuel Lloyd Noble and aviation
[edit]My father, who was from Ardmore, Oklahoma, knew "Lloyd Noble" and had the treat as a young man of going for a ride in his airplane, a Beechcraft Staggerwing. I, unfortunately, have no verifiable reference for this little fact, but perhaps somebody will in the future. The (Oklahoma City) Journal Record article (Shottenkirk, 2007) does mention that "He pioneered air travel in the mid-1940s in order to manage his scattered operations, but he always kept his home base in Ardmore." This is consistent with my father's recollections. --Cotinis (talk) 20:36, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
