External link to Find a Grave[edit]

The inclusion of Find A Grave as an external link for this article is being questioned. It looks like there has been an external link to Find A Grave for more than 15 years. Although I have added quite a bit to the article, I am a newcomer here. To the dozen on so editors who came before me (or other concerned members of the Wikipedia community, do you have any concerns or opinions about this external link? I do see that Find A Grave provides a photo of Marshall and his headstone, which are not part of the article. Is there a benefit to this information? (Please limit this to a discussion of the value-added or not added by the specific content of the Find A Page article, not Find A Grave as a whole. Thanks!) Hi Rublamb, what photo are you referencing here? The link you've restored is nonfunctional. Nikkimaria (talk) 05:36, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Nikkimaria:: Good catch. It was still functional but there was an extra step of clicking the redirect. I have updated the FAG template with the new record number. The link should now go straight to the page with the photos. Rublamb (talk) 06:24, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
