Proposed expansion[edit]

I'm going to undertake a major expansion of this article. Currently it says little or nothing about Hauser's businesses, his banking scandal, or his dam-building. I've identified a couple of articles about Hauser on JSTOR, as well as tidbits in dozens of other articles. The only biography I'm aware of is an unpublished thesis. Anyone know of other book sources? VanillaBean28 (talk) 20:06, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Update[edit]

I've taken this as far as I can take it. The sections on his governorship and personal life are sadly lacking, but I just can't find sources. If I ever run across any, I'll circle back.VanillaBean28 (talk) 20:13, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

I'm listing out references and already I can see that this is going to work better with shortened footnotes. Any objections to converting to that style? VanillaBean28 (talk) 20:20, 1 February 2021 (UTC) Never mind. I read a few Wikipedia user guides and style sheets and figured out how to combine the two styles. It's new for me. :P VanillaBean28 (talk) 19:59, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey![edit]

Someone changed my notes section. All the notes are now mashed up into the reference section. I'm pretty sure that's wrong. I read a lot of Wikipedia style guides and templates before I created the notes section. I could be wrong. But I don't think I am. Someone please tell me the right way to do it, otherwise I'm going to put it back the way I had it. VanillaBean28 (talk) 19:55, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
