Kindergarten lesson in using direct objects correctly[edit]

"He had been contacted by Rakesh Saxena, an Indian financier hoping that a new government would grant him diamond and mineral concessions."

At no point in the parentheses-riddled previous sentence is there anything to indicate who 'he' is. Chances are, the original writer of this opinionated and poorly written article will never return, as he is likely posting his latest conspiracy on abovetopsecret.com about mcdonalds hiring pmcs to monopolize real estate adjacent to duck parks in lousiana.

I find it rather strange that this article doesn't mention the fairly obvious real reason for Sandline's closing - the Simon Mann affair in which a plane full of Sandline mercs was detained in Zimbabwe on their way to overthrow the government of Equitorial Guinea. Sandline Affair[edit]

This article reads like a promotion brochure for the company with statements like "the firm would not accept contracts from groups or governments that would jeopardise its reputation" which contrast with the events of the Sandline affair. Sandline is described as a private military company and defended against accusations of being a mercenary operation despite the established fact that they subcontracted Executive Outcomes mercenaries for PNG.
