"emerita"[edit]

"emeritus" is a Latin adjective modifying the noun "professor", which is masculine in grammatical gender. Why is the word "emeritus" modified here as if "professor" is feminine? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 13:59, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
