Proposed merge with Info Edge (India)[edit]

Mr. Sanjeev Bikhchandani is the Founder and Executive Vice-Chairman of Info Edge (India) Ltd. Mr. Bikhchandani started out as an advertising professional with Lintas India Limited. Thereafter he became a marketing professional with HMM Limited (now GSK or Glaxo SmithKline) and thereafter occupied a senior management position with CMYK Printech Private Limited (which is the owner of The Pioneer newspaper).

He and his business partner Mr. Hitesh Oberoi, together won the Ernst and Young – Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2008 for Business Transformation. Thereafter Mr. Bikhchandani also won the Dataquest Pathbreaker Award and the Teacher’s Achievement Award for Business in 2008. He is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship at conferences and at business schools.

He has completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Stephen College, Delhi University in 1984 and then did his PGDM from IIM-Ahmedabad in 1989.
