Doesn't the infobox automatically show the picture from Wikidata? On no-wiki this works automatically. I thought this was the purpose and concept of Commons, that information in Commons automatically should update Wikipedia articles on all languages. Ssu (talk) 06:27, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ssu, that's not how it works on the English Wikipedia by default, in part because people aren't trusting of Wikidata changes without an enwiki representative signing off. You can use {{Infobox sportsperson/Wikidata}} if you want that to happen here, but that template isn't maintained as much as {{Infobox sportsperson}} and it isn't used in as many articles. I hope one day someone will do the legwork to make the WD template up to date, though. --Habst (talk) 11:35, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
