someone please make a better diagram

Yeah. I don't really get what it's supposed to be. But I came here for a different reason. Is sarcoplasm used in SEO's? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rob657 (talkcontribs) 00:16, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know this is a 'free' encyclopedia, but the diagrams shouldn't be as if a child drew them on paint. Someone please upload a new picture! PLEASE! Diagrams are important for learning and the fact that we have something up looking like that is... disappointing. 68.145.227.159 (talk) 00:15, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Awkward sentence needs rewrite

[edit]

Article currently reads: "The calcium concentration in sarcoplasma is also a special element of the muscular fiber by means of which the contractions takes place and regulates."

This reads awkwardly -- "by means of which the contractions takes place and regulates". This seems to be saying that calcium (a) causes the contractions, and (b) regulates the contractions. The phrase "contractions takes place" is ungrammatical; the sentence overall is unclear. It should be re-written (perhaps broken into two sentences?). I'll leave this to someone familiar with the subject.
