Date of earthquake

[edit]

Have a look at the 1911 Sarez earthquake article - the data in this article may need updating based on that. EdwardLane (talk) 11:11, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

05Feb old style is 18feb new style. See old style and new style dates. 6PM in London would be about midnight local time.Benjamin Trovato (talk) 03:15, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that clarification - I'd not come across the term 'old style' to describe the difference between the calendars :) EdwardLane (talk) 09:01, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Text and Ref from the rushon' article that could be rejigged for this article

[edit]

Called "the Sleeping Dragon" by the native population, Sarez Lake is attracting growing attention of national and international experts for the study and mitigation of its potential threat of collapsing and causing devastating floods and landslides.[1]

Though perhaps some of that should be under the usoi dam ?
