Mir communities affiliation to saiyeds (as most widely spell by sayyids of Gujarat) in any manner is completely unknown. On the contrary most of the Mirs in Gujarat are from neighbouring Rajasthan where Mirs are traditionally folk singers & musicians. Its one of the nomadic tribes in Rajasthan which has no known connection to saiyeds. Another point is the population count of saiyed in Gujarat is way too conservative. Tirmizi Bukhari Faruki or Faruqi Faruqui Kadri or Qadari Quadari Siddiki or Siddiqui Alvi Usmani Uraizee
