Castleton Island State Park[edit]

For future expansion: An interesting document on the parkland's history and archaeological resources (written while it was known as "Castleton Island State Park") is available here. Peninsula, not an island[edit]

How did the park come to be known as Schodack Island State Park? According to the article the six islands became a peninsula in the early 1900s, long before the establishment of a state park. John Link 23:14, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
