During the 70 years of settlement before incorporation, Schoharie was a part of Albany County 1718-1788, Montgomery County 1788-1791, Otsego County 1791-1795, and Schoharie County 1795-present. Of course, the first 58 years were in the Colony of New York, British Colonial America (titles per FamilySearch).
