[edit]My Grandmother always talks about SMSG as far as it being a completely different style of mathematics that my father and two aunts leared when they were in school. Seems like it's just another approach to teaching the topic....but there's not much info on the matter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.166.209.171 (talk) 20:18, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

https://collections.briscoecenter.org/ indexes SMSG-related library holdings. It's a shame nobody has digitized the SMSG textbooks, which contained gems like "[proving theorems] is not a spectator sport"
The U of Rochester link for the Raimi letter is now also dead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.65.77.184 (talk) 02:25, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
