Del rio

[edit]

It's not the face of del Rio but of Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart. --37.31.78.181 (talk) 20:14, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are right - thanks! Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 22:34, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Botvinnik

[edit]

The sentence, "Botvinnik won the World Championship by defeating Estonian grandmaster Paul Keres," is not accurate. Botvinnik became World Champion on the basis of having come in first in the 1948, World Chess Championship tournament, "1948 World Chess Championship was a quintuple round-robin tournament played to determine the new World Chess Champion following the death of the previous champion Alexander Alekhine in 1946." [1] The players in the tournament were Mikhail Botvinnik (USSR), Vasily Smyslov (USSR), Paul Keres (USSR), Samuel Reshevsky (USA) and Max Euwe (NED). R.
