Reviewer: Droodkin (talk · contribs) 22:27, 25 August 2012 (UTC) Alright, I'll be starting the review. Since the article is a pretty long one, this is going to take a while so have patience. So let's get started! --Droodkin (talk) 22:27, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Okay, finished reading and here's the review. GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
There are some personal pronouns (all of which are "we") which could pose a problem as per WP:TONE. However, in my view, it is acceptable (following WP:IAR.) Also, unnecessary capitalisations of words in mid-sentence (like "as an Artillery fort" in the Architecture section) are present.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
All links are working, no dead links. The article is sufficiently cited with books.
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
All major aspects that I expected were included.
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
No bias, as far as I can see. It's neutral.
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
Choice of images are good and relevant to their respective sections.
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
This article passes the requirements for WP:GA, congratulations.
